I think Besigye,Otunnu and others need to jump at this chance with two hands since they are not allowed to be hosted on stations in Uganda.

Ladiyo y’aBaganda at www.ababaka.com continue to give a voice to Buganda’s muzzled populace — every Saturday and Sunday starting at 10AM Pacific Time (9PM Uganda Time), broadcasting from Los Angeles, California, in the “Land of the Free”, i.e. the United States of America.

You can call in during the talkshow. The phone number is 1-818-534-8273, but please BE BRIEF (3 minutes max) so that others also get a chance to air their views.

  1. Owen,

Just load all the programmes as CBS used to,we are willing to send resources.Let us employ all our guys(the abbe’s,katosetc)we can find their salaries.Put them on the plane and they start work.

  2. MASAGAZI JOEL YAWE,

    love the radio

  3. Muwonge Denis,

lets just work for the good of our country and we avoid the past to happen again. leadership comes from God so we should learn how to respect our leaders. remember politicians are looking for jobs by dividing us and journalists are looking for money from their news. we remain citizens of the country and if things go wrong politicians and journalist can go to exile. denis muwonge

  5. ssozi,

how can i hear the radio on the internet

  6. Nsubuga,

The dictator thought that he can starve our people of truthful information which they deserve to make an informed decision about their lives. This is what Museveni is scared of. The man is scared of public debate. The people have seen his lies and have rejected the life presidency project. This is the time for all the perpetrators of violence like the Rwandese Kaihura to heed what’s coming because like Charles Taylor, time will come when he has to answer for the crimes he has perpetrated on Ugandans.
This is our time to tell, not half truths, but the whole truth about these people.
I cant thank Ababaka for putting this idea forward.
Thank you so much, and let every one pass the word over there in Uganda to start listening to this Radio.

  7. Mabonga David,

That is a bright idea and I applaud the brains behind it. Please, take every bold step in making the publicity even to those who just here about internet and don’t how it works. I would love to sit home this weekend at that hour here in Mbale District and also listen to it. Kudos to you guys

  8. Bagatuuma,

To him Mr. President he thinks that not hearing makes him a good person. What he should remember that during Obote and Amin, there was only one radio and TV. However it did not stop the masses to know that thse leaders were bad.

Him and his people have just run out of answers to endless crimes and atrocities that they keep commiting every now and then.

Thanks for the Kingdom innovations. This simly shows him that Buganda is unstopable

  9. rev john musisi,

    kwetulimu kakaati, awangale Magulu Nnyondo
    Rev John Musisi.

  10. jaramogi Apollo,

am not a muganda but fully in support of thi initiative. The baganda community deserve to be informed and to share, learn and listen to themselves and others too.
The un justfiable closure of CBS should not be an end in itself since this alternative means of communication exists.
One learned person said that “giving the right information at the right time can mean the difference between life and death”.i salute you radio buganda!

  11. maggie lwettutte,

Banange press on until you overcome this cos we need this radio back

  12. Eridi,

This is not the baganda cos. lets all fight on for our rights. For how long are going to kep on suffer in the hands of the minority. I applaud this initiative. At least the voice can be heard somwhere else.

  13. kasaija nicholas,

dont worry about the name kasaija ma mama is amuganda and am amuganda at heart.
we need a way foward to the problems we have. The agreement we made with the initial government has been broken by the present governmennt we should stop keeping our part of the agreement.
1 please create disciples in uganda who will connect people in uganda to our radio via all possible ways.(america is the king of technology make use of it).
2 setup small radio trasmitters all over the country.
3 encourage people to give ideas how to solve present problems. (some people think their ideas are senseless).
4 tell people what it fell like to be lost in the world because they have no back ground.(some people think taking care of their families is what matters in the world).

  14. kasaija nicholas,

i have listened to many radios but this is some thing else, i mean, its above all.your music is so good and addictive. internet is expensive here but its worth spending it tuned to you. the only problem i have is i real long for your live voice. i dont want to think that iam listening to a recording.let it be live..

  15. kasaija nicholas,

trouble still rages on. our ancestral resting place of kings has been touched today.action has to be done urgently to re build the tombs other wise the loss will be enormous.

  16. kasaija nicholas,

to help our selves move forward, lets assume we are in haiti.lets join hands now to rebuild our glory.start naming things needed to rebuild, we will start gathering our might.

  17. Joseph Lubega,

I wish that people stop viewing youth as people who dont know the history of Buganda. We have read and have listened to the old ages telling us all that has gone on.

So as for now whatever we as youth do is really to make sure that history remain stable and peace. Anyone who touches honestly cant just go away with it certainly.

  18. ssentongo frank,

Thanks for this development and the management as well

  19. The environment problems of the Albertine basin oil can be seen clearly in the context of the BP current problems in America.

  20. shadrack,
