I sincerely hope Kenya is on the eve of joining her sister Ghana (which does have fairly very identical structural bases) as the vanguard of African democracy development.
Both countries had innitially strongpre independence leader gestalter but, who upon achieving independence, were transformed into monsters that beasted the populations.
In both countries, the leadership torch has been relayed to the sons and daughters of those former heros. In Ghana you had the BIG SIX while in Kenya you had the Mau-Mau bunch.
I believe Ghana has now jumped the hurdle and Kenya soon follows.
But this could be wishful thinking. I never ever underestimate the animal in man of the African!
Hmm, a son of the soil can short circuit just like that and refuse to understand a thing!!
