The alternative constitution she presented to the “August House”, with overpowering eloquence, knowledge, wisdom and humility, was a text that captures the “ethos” of our lovely Nation and our people. The text of the now approved alternative constitution of our country has been quietly and prudently assembled; exhaustively capturing practical desires of all people young, old, educated and not so educated, in all walks and trades of life. The old generation burning and wishing to bequeath to future generations a fair and just instrument to guarantee justice and equity in governing their affairs. The alternative constitution has been intensively and extensively tested both inside and outside the country through experts and lay people over 20 years. The submission of this alternative constitution to our seating Parliament was truly a GIANT step. Lo and behold, they unanimously approved it!! Now therefore, and in total humility, I present to you and to the whole Nation “our new Constitution; “THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE”.
